Software Europe’s cloud services now used by 200 NHS organisations

Software Europe, provider of cloud technology for people, expenses and contracts, has announced that its most recent customer win brings the number of NHS organisations now using its cloud technology to 200. Over 67% of NHS employees in England and Wales are using its leading cloud technology to manage expenses, employee relations, and workforce.

NHS customer Sue Childerstone, Head of Payroll at Northumbria Healthcare Trust commented: “Previously, our validation for expense claims was done manually – that was the main reason to moving the cloud. We had upwards of 5000 claimants per month that were all on paper. Now with Software Europe’s Expenses product, there is less risk of errors and missed payments due to lost pieces of paper – rules are built in to the solution so there is an audit trail.”

She continued: “We provide payroll services for many other organisations throughout NHS – we always mention that Software Europe’s Expenses system is available to them and try to recommend moving to a cloud-based system and away from paper.”

The company has boosted its NHS credentials with its Employee Relations cloud solution, ER-Tracker, which records and monitors all activity relating to ER cases such as long-term sickness, grievance, and disciplinary. Increased numbers of NHS organisations are turning to ER Tracker to help take control of long-term sickness cases to deliver compliant and consistent outcomes for employees, and improving the productivity and efficiency of HR teams.

“We are so pleased to announce we now have 200 individual NHS customers using our cloud technology, as well as numerous local councils, universities as well as commercial organisations such as BrightHouse, Fitness First, and Southampton Football Club,” commented Deborah Saunby, Sales and Marketing Director at Software Europe. There’s still lots of opportunities for Software Europe to grow within the NHS – existing customers are actively looking at our other services, so we’ll be continuing to cross-sell our cloud services within the NHS. Our customers have seen the benefits of using cloud technology to manage staff expenses and ER cases, as well as transforming manual paper-based processes into trackable online workflows and automating NHS processes using e-forms”
