SWYPFT signs contract for SystmOne Mental Health

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SWYPFT) has signed a five year contract with TPP to deploy the SystmOne Mental Health module across all of its services. The contract is an addition to the existing Shared Business Service (SBS) Framework contract the Trust has with TPP.

The Trust employs around 4,500 staff members, delivering mental health and community services to people primarily living in the areas of Wakefield, Barnsley, Calderdale and Kirklees.

The Trust chose SystmOne after an extensive tender process due to its improved functionality and the wide use of SystmOne in primary care, in the area surrounding the Trust. The Trust is hoping to make the switch to SystmOne in early 2019.

Ed Reid, the Trust’s programme director, said “We’re looking forward to introducing the new system. Signing this new agreement is the culmination of a great deal of work talking to staff and finding a system that meets all of our requirements across the Trust.”

Paul Wye, Account Manager, TPP said “We’re really excited to be bringing South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust onto SystmOne Mental Health. As such a large Trust with a variety of community and mental health services on offer, for a broad geography of patients, the ability for them to have a truly integrated shared record will bring huge benefits.”
